Patsy was the forewoman of the local factory. They made coffin nails and doll heads for the metro Philadelphia area. After a tough day at work, Patsy liked to visit the local library and check out a new book. The library staff all knew her and knew just what she needed, a new book about science. Physics, biology, astronomy, chemistry. She couldn’t get enough of it. A little tea and a new book and she felt the day roll right of of her.
I threw Patsy on the wheel out of stoneware clay. She then had her wings and hair added, glazed and then fired to a cone 5.5.
