Jane flew for the first time at 10 days old. She soared from the nest feeling the chilly May breeze and knowing her destiny was ahead of her. Her siblings cautioned her to wait until they were ready too but she jumped anyway, trusting the wind and hungry for the new world.
Jane was thrown on the wheel (so she is hollow) and then hair and wings were added. She was then finished with glaze and underglaze. She is feathered and has a beautiful snake on her back.
