This piece I made shortly after the 2024 election. I was feeling sad and hopeless so I made this as a reminder to myself that things happen in cycles and change can happen and to not give up hope for humanity.

This sculpture was thrown on the wheel with stoneware clay, then clay details (headdress, wings and beak)were added. It was bisque fired, then decorated with glaze and underglaze before being fired to a cone 5.5.
